What a great day at
Woodland Bible Camp Homecoming 2005
Saturday, September 10, 2005

Over 125 people attended the Woodland Homecoming on September the 10th.  The young kids enjoyed the Kid’s Carnival, the Infallible Jump Enclosure,  and the Puppet Show.  The teens played volleyball and caught up with camp friends.  The adults visited with each other, celebrated camp and the Lord during a Praise & Hymn Sing.

Beginning last year, the Camp Board of Directors selected three people who have served the camp over and beyond the normal call of duty.  This year’s honorees were John Bridges, Bill Smallwood, and Allene Pound.  Brother Bridges and Brother Smallwood are with the Lord, so family members accepted framed certificates on their behalf.  Sister Pound was in attendance.  On receiving her certificate she said, “I felt like I didn’t do enough for the camp and would like to do more.  I hope the camp will continue to be here!”

Everyone enjoyed the Banquet.  There was great food and a good number of door prizes.  The annual meeting was held before the banquet.  See the Camp News page for more information about the meeting.   Praise God for the wonderful day!
